Academic Advising for First Years
Who Helps with First Year Advising?
The Bobcat Advising Center (BAC) is the academic advising home for all first year students in every major, all lower division undeclared transfers, and all continuing undeclared students in any class year.
We promote student success through academic advising appointments, walk-in advising, workshops, and connecting students with appropriate resources.
With your BAC academic advisor, first year students can discuss course selection, preliminary graduation plans for your intended major, personal and career interests, admission requirements for different majors, and resources that will support your choice.
Bobcat Advising Center is located in Kolligian Library (KL) 122.
